MY GOODNESS this is good! If you are looking for a smoky, nostalgic church incense scent. Look no further, this perfume is strong, lasts what seems like forever on me, and smells so amazing. I have received more compliments while wearing this than I think anything I’ve ever tried. will be buying again soon no doubt thank you!

I can’t resist a church incense perfume, have tried many iterations from many perfumers, and this is one of the best/most realistic I’ve come across! Lush smoky wood, without any hint of BBQ, mingled with beautiful incense resins. Combined it’s impressively evocative of the old polished wood you smell upon entering a church, and the frankincense and myrrh incense used in thuribles during mass. I don’t detect any overt coffee but I think it’s adding an earthy complexity to the smoke.
It’s also surprisingly gentle – it has a close sillage, the scent won’t be screaming off of you as you walk into a room, but will be noticed by those in close proximity. I am so happy I bought a full size of this!

I cant quite put my finger on it, but there is a very slight tinge of something in this perfume that reminds me of maybe old clothes left out? Im not sure, after an hour I think it smells amazing.
Everyone i have asked to try it cant detect what I smell, and say that they love it and think its incredible! Im sure its just a fluke with my nose so im giving it 4 because of my family and friends response

I consider myself somewhat of a “church scent” connoisseur after trying many. It’s one of my favourite scent types when done well, and Fugitives has become my new favourite scent in this category. I recently came across Spathe and knew I had to try this scent. It absolutely didn’t disappoint and was everything I hoped for. I’ll definitely need to come back for a full bottle. Thank you for this wonderful creation!

I’m stunned how vividly this fragrance conjures memories of small rural churches for me. It’s exactly what I’d breathe in and experience walking through the doors to take a seat in the pews.
There’s dry, warmly shining woods, lacquered and painted and polished; a lingering trail of resinous incense smoke that almost feels suffused within the church walls and carpets; and even a slight mustiness that evokes dust motes drifting slowly through slanted sunlight from the church windows.
It’s the smell of a quiet church—before the congregation file in, before the sermon begins, before you reach out to shake your neighbour’s hand and wish peace upon them.
Like other reviewers mentioned, I can’t quite find the coffee aspect in the fragrance. It must be quite subtle or else quietly supporting another accord. Though if it were really overt in the fragrance, there’s the risk it might overwhelm and blot out something integral to the composition.
I’m looking forward to purchasing a full-size bottle when they’re back in stock. This really is an interesting and unique fragrance, and I think it’s terrific.

This is an incredible scent. I’m a sucker for incense frags and this is so well done. Smoky with a beautiful underlying sweetness, and extremely long lasting! One or two sprays is all it takes. This is a masterful fragrance, very unisex, not to mention the bottle design is gorgeous (half the reason I purchase perfumes to begin with) it immediately became my favourite bottle in my collection. Just so so so good.

i am a man who loves a good smell but find other brands don’t stay on me the same way this does i get up at 3 to 4am almost every day and when i get home at 5 to 6pm i still have people saying they can smell it on me and when my work gets hot i can smell it on myself this is and will be my only Parfum from now on
